Project description
A long-established European family-owned group headquartered in Europe, active since the 19th century. The company specializes in the production and distribution of consumer goods, complemented by activities in logistics, printing, and real estate management. The client wants us to co-build the project.
Requirements
Core Expertise:
- 4+ years of proven experience in SAP PP (Production Planning) implementation and support;
- Strong understanding of Hungarian local business practices related to production planning, manufacturing execution, and logistics integration;
- Solid track record of participating in rollout or greenfield projects, ideally in multinational environments;
- Ability to align global SAP templates with local production processes and regulatory specifics;
- Fluent English (B2 and above);
- Fluent Hungarian (native).
Technical & Functional Skills:
- Expertise in core PP functionalities;
- Experience with Shop Floor Control, confirmations, and integration with MM, SD, FI, and QM modules;
- Capable of conducting fit-gap analyses, preparing functional specifications, and coordinating developments with ABAP teams;
- Ability to optimize and localize production processes, ensuring compliance with Hungarian legal and operational requirements;
- Comfortable working in co-building environments, contributing to process design and decision-making.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA PP or PP/DS;
- Previous work in industries such as tobacco, logistics, printing, or real estate;
- Multi-country rollout experience within the EU.
Responsibilities
- The project requires active participation in co-building activities, where the consultant is expected to contribute to process design and decision-making, rather than following a predefined scope;
- Consultants should be available for occasional travel to Debrecen.
