Project description

Our client is a global leader in the manufacturing of interior solutions for vehicles. You will join our SAP manager to migrate from SAP ECC6 to S/4HANA. The migration is planned using a Brownfield approach, maintaining an "as-is" solution while managing over 8,000 custom objects. Once the migration is completed, processes will be redesigned to align with SAP standards, but this will occur post-migration, as the teams are not yet operationally ready or sufficiently skilled to handle a complete return to standard processes immediately.

Requirements

  • Expertise required in SAP ECC6 and S/4HANA, focusing on MM, SD modules;
  • Migration experience from SAP ECC6 to S/4HANA.; 
  • Fluency in English (B2 and above).

Responsibilities

The current priority is to ensure a successful migration, minimizing risks and disruptions, and addressing limitations in the availability and expertise of internal teams:

  • Migrating customer and supplier data to SAP’s Business Partner model, ensuring compliance with S/4HANA requirements;

  • Harmonizing and structuring data to simplify future operations;

  • Identifying, analyzing, and resolving inconsistencies in financial data and master data;

  • Addressing critical areas such as chart of accounts cleanup and customer/supplier database consolidation;

  • Defining a clear methodology for identifying, processing, and validating data, in collaboration with internal teams;

  • Managing mandatory changes;

  • Evaluating the impact of the 8,000 custom objects and ensuring their compatibility with S/4HANA;

  • Reviewing SAP Queries (e.g., SQ01, SQVI) to adapt them to the new environment.
