Project description
A long-established European family-owned group headquartered in Europe, active since the 19th century. The company specializes in the production and distribution of consumer goods, complemented by activities in logistics, printing, and real estate management. The client wants us to co-build the project.
Requirements
Core Expertise:
- 4+ years of proven experience in SAP FI-CO (Financial Accounting and Controlling) implementation and support;
- In-depth knowledge of Hungarian local financial regulations and accounting standards;
- Demonstrated experience in tax (e.g. VAT), statutory reporting, and compliance with Hungarian authorities;
- Strong background in end-to-end SAP rollouts or local deployments;
- Fluent English (B2 and above);
- Fluent Hungarian (native).
Technical & Functional Skills:
- Expertise in FI modules: GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Banking, Tax configuration;
- Experience with CO modules: Cost Centers, Internal Orders, Profit Centers, Profitability Analysis;
- Ability to perform gap analysis, design functional specifications, and collaborate with ABAP teams for development;
- Familiarity with integration points between FI-CO and MM, SD, PP, and the ability to collaborate cross-module.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA;
- Previous work in industries such as tobacco, logistics, printing, or real estate;
- Multi-country rollout experience within the EU.
Responsibilities
- The project requires active participation in co-building activities, where the consultant is expected to contribute to process design and decision-making, rather than following a predefined scope;
- Consultants should be available for occasional travel to Debrecen.
