Project description

A long-established European family-owned group headquartered in Europe, active since the 19th century. The company specializes in the production and distribution of consumer goods, complemented by activities in logistics, printing, and real estate management. The client wants us to co-build the project.

Requirements

Core Expertise:

  • 4+ years of proven experience in SAP MM (Materials Management) and/or SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) implementation and support;
  • Solid understanding of Hungarian local regulations, particularly in procurement, logistics, taxation, and invoicing processes;
  • Hands-on experience in local rollout or greenfield projects, preferably in multinational environments;
  • Strong ability to adapt standard SAP processes to local legal and business requirements, including integration with FI for tax and invoice handling;
  • Fluent English (B2 and above);
  • Fluent Hungarian (native).  

 

Technical & Functional Skills:

  • MM: Procurement (P2P), inventory management, master data, pricing procedures, invoice verification, and integration with FI;
  • SD: Order-to-Cash cycle, pricing configuration, billing, shipping, and logistics execution;
  • Experience with cross-module integration (FI-CO, PP, PS) and collaboration with functional and technical teams;
  • Capable of conducting gap analyses, preparing functional specs, and collaborating with development teams for custom solutions;
  • Strong workshop facilitation skills and ability to challenge existing processes constructively.

 

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA;
  • Previous work in industries such as tobacco, logistics, printing, or real estate;
  • Multi-country rollout experience within the EU.

Responsibilities

  • The project requires active participation in co-building activities, where the consultant is expected to contribute to process design and decision-making, rather than following a predefined scope;
  • Consultants should be available for occasional travel to Debrecen.
