Project description

The project is a leading B2B event platform that helps enterprises increase the impact of their events by delivering CRM- connected, high-quality experiences across in-person, virtual, hybrid events, and webinars.

Technical stack: Vue.js; Nodejs, Express.js; Redis, CouchDB, TimescaleDB; AI coding tools: Anthropic’s Claude.
 

Requirements

  • 8+ years building and shipping production web applications, with significant time in senior or lead full-stack roles.
  • Deep, practical command of JavaScript (ideally TypeScript), Vue.js (React or Angular equally welcome), Node.js/Express, RESTful APIs, and microservices at scale.
  • Hands-on experience with document-oriented, relational, and time-series databases (CouchDB, PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB) and caching with Redis.
  • Strong testing, observability, and performance practices (Mocha, Karma, Jenkins or similar).
  • Experience with AWS, Docker, and infrastructure as code.
  • AI-assisted development: using tools like Anthropic's Claude as a natural part of building software.
  • Technical leadership: Proven record of delivering business-critical SaaS in high-availability, real-time, or high-traffic environments.
  • Fluent English (B2+).
  • Location: based in the EU.

Responsibilities

  • 60% - Fullstack feature development: user-facing features with Vue.js on the web and Node.js/Express microservices on the back end; designing APIs and data models on CouchDB, TimescaleDB, and Redis.
  • 25% - Quality, performance, and reliability: unit, integration, and e2e tests; keeping CI green; profiling and optimizing front-end and back-end performance under peak live-event load; logging, metrics, and alerting (Datadog, Elastic).
  • 15% - Technical leadership and support: thorough code reviews, setting engineering standards, contributing to architecture decisions, mentoring, and resolving production issues.
